There's no accounting for the quirks of Blogger. How sensible to add another post for commenting. When I added my post this morning half the pictures seemed to be missing, but then they showed up a little sheepishly a little while later... how odd. I hope you did well as the sale... the items on show look fab! Chrissie #5
it was interesting to read your posts about the craft fair, I have never tried one, but I think with so many stampers out there, (I mainly do cards) I would find it har to sell - well done you. Hope your burn gets better!!
Sounds like you had a very nice experience at the craft fair, except for the burned hand. I love the candle, even though it caused you much pain and suffering. And that heart looks like it took an INSANE amount of time to create. Happy WoYWW from number 8.
Love your crafty projects. We are doing a craft fair this Sat but although we have loads to take with us I have a feeling we will be bringing most of it back home with us :-) Not many folk have money to spare at the mo I guess. A x
Blogger drives me crazy! Took me five tries to log into my own account tonight! I just typed really slow so he could understand...lol! Love your candle! Susan xxox #12
Glad the craft fair went well, all your goodies look fab (had a little scroll down to see your previous posts too). Definitely emphasise the home made aspect, people seem to respond better when it's clear something is handmade :D (43)
Hello there, oh your poor left hand, hope it's better now. That early start for the fair was a bit of a challenge. Love the candle the little bird looks so sweet and your decorated heart is a darling:0) xx#63
I valued the debriefing of the craft fair as I was ticking of doing some myself next year. Love the heart and the candles. Thanks for the peek, JoZarty x
glad your fair went well, madness that no one bought your pirate trunk, you are so right, I come home from manning my stalls with so much less of MY stuff than I took, but then can't work out why my pockets are empty and my boxes are still full? I end up spending as much money as I make from selling buying things on the other stalls!!!
So you fair was sucessful - that's great. Your makes do look very lovely - especially the decoupaged hearts, so pretty. The candle looks great too (ouch though with the heat gun!!).
There was another one that did that (blog)...couldn't remember which one it was now... I haven't been able to get into Moy yin for about 5 weeks, it just goes dark, nothing clickable. Love the heart, and me too, always end up bringing more stuff back than I've taking with me!Have a Happy WOYWW ((Lyn)) #54
sounds like your first craft fair was a success, I've got a couple of school fairs next month so I'm hoping to sell a few of my many cards that are piling up in my craft room. Thanks for the peek hugs
Thanks for sharing your goodies with us. I did a frame (fairly broad flat one) in papers like your heart and put a piece of grid-like plastic behind it to make into an ear-ring holder when I was at CHA last year. Just an idea for you.
Afternoon, Lovely exciting desk, beautiful work I love the heart! Trying to catch up and have a nose at everyone's work areas.....thanks for sharing. Big hugs JO xxx (33)
Hi, Hope you managed to make a little profit. Love your little candle and heart. There's always another day when its warmer and you will come back empty handed and purse bulging. Have fun Big Hugs JO.xxx*25*
Blogger can have a world of its own at the time. Glad the craft fair went well. Thanks for sharing your workspace with us. Best wishes, Kym xxx (WOYWW No 42)
I'm sure I'll try making my own decoupage candles one day. I'll have to be very careful, apparently... Thanks for commenting on my blog. Have a great week! #66
I think Blogger has been having a bad week - it didn't play nice for me either :( I see you've had a busy week signing up with Inland Revenue, etc. I got my annual return in by the skin of my teeth and as it is my last one, yea, I'm totally delighted, I'm in retired heaven. Love the collaged heart, Elizabeth #44
Your crafts look great! Good for you for getting into the craft fairs! I am new to this so I don't have any advice, I just hope to be as good as you one day, so I can sell my stuff. I love the Pirate box too, I am surprised it didn't sell. I would buy it! I'm in Canada, would the shipping be too hard? Seriously, let me know! xoxo Karen #82
Oops with regard to the candle which caused the oweee, hope it is better by now? You appear to have done well at the craft fair... haven't been to one yet but I think people expect hand made crafts to be silly prices without considering the time involved - same with hand made cards!! :( Annette #85
I've only tried a craft fair once and it was a good learning experience. I'd defo do another one one day. so good on you for putting yourself out there, can be nerve racking but fun at the same time, plus it pays for more stash lol
Sounds like you had a great time at the Craft fair. We have a craft market very close to us. They had a special Twilight session of the craft market. I couldn't go to the craft market, as I was working (one off) I love browsing through this market. (Especially christmas time) Have fun a the future fairs. Kelly

ReplyDeleteMaybe you could set up an etsy or ebay shop and sell some more, shame to waste all your excellent effort (and pain) for no gain :)
