WOYWW: Craft Hobby and Stitch International - The Reading Pile

I missed you all last week.  Wednesdays aren't quite the same without a wander around the desks of the crafty, ooohing and aaahing at tidyness, disorder, new crafty stash and other people's makes.  To see more crafty desks, you need to call in on our esteemed leader Julia, at the WOYWW button to the left.

Today's picture is really dim, because I forgot to take it while there was still plenty of light in the hall.  Doh...  It is approximately half of the catalogues, magazines, price lists and information I gathered at the Craft Hobby & Stitch Show this week.  I am looking forward to Thursday and Friday when I have quiet days available to brew up a large pot of tea, sit down at the table in the window armed with my trusty marker pen, and peruse it all.  Hope that those of you who went to CHSI enjoyed it as much as I did.

  4. Hi - you were SO restrained! Half of me would love to go to an event like this, the other (sensible) side sighs with relief that I don't tend to see the ads for them! I was scanning down your really interesting blog and felt SO sorry that your hard work for the craft fair wasn't appreciated. It's a real bummer, eh?! I'm amazed how few people are interested in lovely, home made crafts. Good job we have fun making them, isn't it!! Anyway - we love you! Keep it up xx

  45. Lol, obviously I haven't written my post correctly cause you're the third person to mention how quick the snow melted! The sunny, almost snowless pic was from Friday 18th Feb, the snowy pic was from Monday 21st Feb, so it's all still on the ground. Plus another 2" from last night, up to another 5" tonight and another couple of inches for the weekend too!!

  46. Hi Bernie, sounds like you had a great time at the show (good luck with your new digital kit - I've never been able to get into that). That sure was a lot of reading you had there.

Thanks for your comment on my blog - yes, that was a Sanctuary box in my cupboard - it was a Christmas pressie and I soon had it in use storing some of my lace! I think I was more excited about the box rather than the lovely smellies inside it - lol.

I see you're a girl after my own heart when it comes to beauty! Although I think I would go bankrupt if I liked anywhere near a Sephora ;-)
